- The Tennessee Ignite Basketball Club is a boys AAU program located in
Murfreesboro, TN. Our mission is to develop young athletes into skilled
basketball players and well-rounded individuals through teamwork,
sportsmanship, and perseverance both on and off the court. Here's what sets
us apart:
- Expert Coaching: Our experienced coaches are dedicated to helping our
athletes reach their full potential both on and off the court.
- Competitive Environment: Our teams compete at the highest level, giving our
athletes the opportunity to showcase their skills against top talent.
- College Exposure: Our goal is to help our athletes get noticed by college
coaches and provide them with the tools they need to succeed at the next
level through development and continued growth and exposure to high level
competition.
- Athlete Development: We instill values such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and
perseverance in our athletes, helping them become well-rounded individuals.
- Community Involvement: We encourage our athletes to give back to their
communities through volunteer work and other initiatives, helping them
develop empathy and a sense of social responsibility.

Shelton!
Founder and Head Coach of the Tennessee Ignite Basketball Club,
Coach Shelton is driven by a deep passion for helping young
athletes reach their full potential. With an incredible basketball IQ
and years of coaching experience, he brings unmatched expertise to
the program. More than just a coach, he’s a mentor with a clear
vision: to create pathways for athletes to take their game to the
next level. Coach Shelton views basketball as more than a sport—
it’s an outlet where athletes can get in the zone, focus, and sharpen
their skills. His commitment to leadership development, community
involvement, and personal growth ensures his athletes excel both
on the court and in life!
